Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains what information Soto Strength Group (“Gorilla Baseball”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website and our application, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number and, optionally, your Instagram handle.
- Parent or guardian details for high-school applicants who move forward: their name, email address and phone number.
- Application answers: playing level, school year, height and weight, current and goal performance numbers, goals, challenges and whether you’re ready to invest in training.
- Consent records: when you agreed to be contacted, and which version of the notice you saw.
- How far you got in the form: which steps you reached, including whether you started filling in a contact field, so we can improve the application. We don’t save anything you type on the first step until you press “Start Application”.
- Technical information: your IP address is used briefly to prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated requests). Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies: one that lets you pick up your application where you left off on the same device, and sign-in cookies for our staff. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- to review your application and decide whether our program is a fit;
- to contact you (and, for high-school athletes, a parent or guardian) about your application and our program by phone, email and text message;
- to remind you if you start an application but don’t finish it;
- to keep the site secure and working.
Text messages
If you agree to be contacted, we may send recurring automated text messages about your application and our program. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the program, under their own confidentiality and security terms:
- our website host (Vercel) and database provider (Neon);
- our customer-relationship and messaging platform (GoHighLevel), which stores contact details and sends our emails and texts;
- Google Fonts, which serves the site’s fonts and receives your IP address when pages load.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
How long we keep it
We keep application information for as long as we need it to evaluate applicants and work with athletes, and to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Young athletes
Our program is for high-school, college and professional players. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has applied, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, or of emails with the unsubscribe link.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing nicksotoperformance@gmail.com.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, restricted access for staff, and database-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
